We are looking for a RF Device Developer to join our team!

Main responsibilities:

  • Design of microwave devices: power amplifiers, filters, oscillators, antennas and waveguides
  • Development of electrical schematic diagrams
  • Simulation and modelling (HFSS, CST Microwave Office, ADS) with analysis of S-parameters, radiation patterns and impedance matching
  • PCB wiring of microwave devices with impedance control, EMC/EMI and heat dissipation
  • Prototyping, layout design, RF parameter measurements using VNA, spectrum analyzer and other RF equipment
  • Explaining the physical principles of RF systems, antennas and modulations to the team
  • Preparing technical documentation
  • Participating in tests.

 

Requirements:

  • Higher technical education (radio engineering, telecommunications, physical electronics or related fields)
  • Experience with RF devices from 3 years
  • Experience in ordering PCBs
  • Knowledge of electromagnetic wave theory, radiation principles, dielectric and conductive losses
  • Experience in PCB tracing for RF (stack-up, controlled impedance, ground vias)
  • Confident user of HFSS, CST, ADS, Altium Designer or similar CAD software
  • Experience with RF transistors (GaN, LDMOS) and matching stages at frequencies from 300 MHz (from 50 W)
  • Ability to explain complex physical processes in simple language.
Will be an advantage:
  • Programming skills (MATLAB, Python) for processing measurement results
  • Knowledge of IEEE, MIL-STD standards for microwave devices
  • Publications, patents or completed projects.
