There is a saying in the industry: “If you want to make God laugh, try using EW without SIGINT.” Even the most modern Electronic Warfare (EW) systems lose their effectiveness if you lack complete information about the drone. Such intelligence can only be provided by a high-performance Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) system.
That is why Kvertus created Atlas—a high-tech complex that synergizes Signals Intelligence and Electronic Warfare. The complex is capable of detecting fixed-wing UAVs at ranges of up to 115 km and effectively suppressing targets at distances of up to 30 km.
Atlas consists of two components working in perfect synergy: the KVERTUS MS AZIMUTH SIGINT system and the KVERTUS LTEJ MIRAGE smart EW system. The former detects drones, UAVs, and their operator control units, performing deep analysis of the intercepted signals. Based on this intelligence, the operator programs the optimal interference profile to neutralize the target with the EW system.
Azimuth is a passive detection system unique to the Ukrainian market. In terms of functionality, it rivals flagship products from global leaders—such as Aaronia, TCI, and Rohde & Schwarz—but is available at a significantly more competitive price point.
Azimuth scans the radio spectrum across a wide range of 30–6000 MHz, detecting not only drones and UAVs but also their repeaters, control stations, radars, and other EW assets. Operating in a passive mode without emitting signals, the system remains invisible to enemy radio reconnaissance. It provides the operator with exhaustive target data: frequency, bearing, protocol type, spread factor, and even allows for the interception of the drone’s video feed. Two Azimuth units working in tandem allow for signal triangulation to pinpoint the target’s exact coordinates.
The Mirage smart EW system represents the cutting edge of EW efficiency. It is capable of suppressing drones and UAVs that utilize EW-resistant communication protocols. Mirage’s architecture is built on a modular “construction kit” principle: customers can choose from 14 frequency band combinations. The full range of available bands covers the 300–6000 MHz spectrum.
Interference parameters for Mirage are programmed automatically within the Azimuth interface based on the acquired target data. Jamming can be emitted simultaneously via directional (log-periodic or horn) and omnidirectional (quadrifilar) antennas.
